Friday, March 16, 2012. Memorial of HOPE for Tohoku, Japan. To all who made this gathering so special in loving tribute to the people in Tohoku, Japan on March 10, 2012. Close to 100 people joined us on a stormy Saturday at Golden Gardens Park Beach despite the weather! A gathering around a bonfire was followed by a water blessing then Seattle Kokon Taiko lead a procession along the shoreline. A conch shell call marked the silent prayer at sunset.
Piano Donations for Japan Disaster Affected Public Schools. Most of us have been teaching piano and other instruments to children living in areas struck by the tsunami. Hoping for your aid, we kindly ask you to send your contribution to the post office and bank accounts below, which have been especially opened for this purpos.
